Casework services are available to young people and their families, ages 3 to 17, who reside within the Hamilton Southeastern School District. Services are voluntary, confidential and are provided at no cost to the family.
Family education programming offers caregivers access to a variety of no cost programs provided by or in collaboration with community professional which facilitate family growth and development, including workshops, guest speakers and parenting classes.
Mentoring coalition is a partnership that strives to collaborate with all community and local mentoring programs to matches a young person with a trained adult volunteer for the purpose of companionship and role modeling.
Food, clothing, & financial assistance is offered through a coordination with our Township Trustee offices, church and community organizations, and local/state community agencies.
Assistance with counseling, anger management, & coordinating for mental health resources is provided as needed for students through partnership with counselors and licensed practitioners, physicians and doctors, and community-based resources.
Camps & recreational opportunities are available to students working with the Fishers Youth Assistance Program who can benefit from a positive, recreational opportunity. FYAP works with families and community organizations to provide scholarships as needed.
Tutoring resources are facilitated in association with the National Honor Society programs at both Fishers and Hamilton Southeastern High School, volunteer teachers within Hamilton Southeastern Schools, and through scholarships to work with tutoring businesses serving the Fishers community.
